Dr. Buckson and Dr. James are board certified and fellows of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. They offer minimally invasive surgery for many gynecologic problems including endometriosis, fibroids, and ovarian cysts. In addition, Pavilion Ob/Gyn offers comprehensive general and high risk obstetrical care. Currently, we are accepting new patients. Our practice also participates with most insurance plans. Meet Dr. Theresa A. Buckson

Dr. Theresa A. Buckson is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia and she completed her residency training at Maryland General Hospital. Following her residency, she remained at Maryland General Hospital in a group practice and also served in a teaching capacity. Dr. Buckson has been practicing in Annapolis for six years. She provides a full range of care from adolescent gynecology to prenatal care to menopause. Dr. Buckson has maintained a particular interest in menopause management and is an active member of the North American Menopause Society. Dr. Buckson strives to provide quality and personal care to her patients, while encouraging them to be proactive participants in their health care.

Meet Dr. Ayanna L. James

Dr. Ayanna L. James has been practicing in Maryland for more than eight years and joined Pavilion Ob/Gyn two and a half years ago. She is a graduate of the University of Buffalo, School od Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, NY and her residency was completed at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center - New York Medical College in the Bronx, NY. In her training years Dr. James participated in several research projects at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD which she enjoyed so much that she made the decision to make Maryland her home. Dr. James enjoys the comprehensive nature of both obstetrics and gynecology and has a special interest in helping women through the transitions of adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause. in addition, she has a special focus in the treatment of fibroids.
